Investigation into council members concludes with deferred prosecution

Nearly two years after Austinite Brian Rodger first accused Austin City Council members of circumventing the Texas Open Meetings Act, investigation into the matter has closed. Each of the accused has entered into an individual compliance agreement, promising to uphold a series of suggestions from County Attorney David Escamilla to prevent the situation from happening in the future.
