Obama, Romney finish debate preparations

Obama, Romney finish debate preparations
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP)--President Barack Obama says he feels "fabulous" in advance of tonight's second debate with Mitt Romney.

He spoke to reporters while on his way into a meeting today with top aides in Williamsburg, Va., where he's been taking part in an intensive "debate camp" for the past three days.

The pressure is high on Obama tonight. He has admitted that he lost the first debate two weeks ago.

He and Romney will take questions on domestic and foreign policy from an audience of about 80 uncommitted voters, in a town-hall-style format.

Romney arrived this morning in New York for the debate at Hofstra University on suburban Long Island. He was smiling broadly as he left his plane. For much of the flight, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman crouched in front of Romney's seat. Portman has been playing the role of Obama in Romney's practice sessions.
