The Dangerous Toys put Austin’s hard rock scene on the map in the 1980s. Decades later, they continue to bring it back at the Red Eyed Fly once a year.
Sure, it’s a different time in music than it was in 1989, but that won’t keep anyone from having a blast. The annual show is a family reunion of sorts, both for the band and for the fans.
“It’s the same songs, but it’s the same songs that you want to hear and the same songs that we want to play,” lead singer Jason McMaster said.
The Dangerous Toys will play at the Red Eyed Fly on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 8:30 p.m.
