Olympic silver medalist Leo Manzano said the Manzano Mile is a fun event aimed at families. This year it’s on March 23 at the Texas School for the Deaf.

All age groups can participate, and children 10 and under can run for free. The children will get a t-shirt for their efforts and they’ll get to meet some Olympians.

Half the proceeds from the event will go to the Austin Community Foundation to support other local events and projects.

For more information, check out the Manzano Mile website.
