One of the most popular events at the 20th Annual Austin Film Festival wasn't a movie premiere.
It was a script reading from “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan. He came with talent including Will Ferrell for a spirited reading of a story called “Two-Face.”
Gilligan confessed on the red carpet he was nervous about how the audience would react to the script, but said he was excited to be working with director Rian Johnson for the reading.
The festival continues through Thursday. Monday night's big event is the local premiere of the new Coen Brothers movie “Inside Llewyn Davis” at Paramount Theater.
