When your car has a dead battery, there are usually only two options—jumper cables or a tow truck.

However, if you have a standard transmission, there is one old school method you can give a try. It won't work on all cars or if your battery isn’t completely dead. If you just left your lights on and need a quick jump, it is worth a try.

It’s the pop-the-clutch method and it takes some team work. Find out how in this edition of “Your Driver’s Ed.”
