One of the growing trends for parents today is to try cloth diapers. Last week, YNN spoke about the benefits of cloth diapers. Now, we talk to parents who give us their take.

“Initially, I was considering the new cloth diapers, they have a bunch of different kinds now and I ended up doing Huggies, disposables,” mother Wendy Taddia said.

Taddia said she decided to go with a disposable diaper for convenience.

“He was really colicky for the first six months and I tried cloth, but it was just too much to put on my plate.”

Taddia said you may save money over the long run with cloth diapers, but the initial investment of those types of diapers is pretty high.

YNN’s Jennifer Borget got other mothers’ takes on which they prefer and why in this edition of “Growing up Texas.”
