Manos de Christo is a nonprofit organization in Austin that provides a variety of programs to low-income families, including low-fee dental care.
The organization currently serves more than 16,000 people each year, but even more need has created the demand for an expansion. A new dental services building is being constructed right next to the organization's existing education building and headquarters at 4911 Harmon Avenue. The new clinic will be ready in November.
The expansion means the organization will be able to increase services to 23,000 people per year.
