Ronnie came to the Austin Animal Center in terrible condition. He had bite marks all over his face and calluses on his elbows. As if that wasn't enough, he was also heartworm positive. These are all clear signs of a pet left outside most all of his life, negatively affected by the elements with no health care.
His stay at the Austin Animal Center has allowed him become a big lovable dog. He loves to lean in close and be by his handler's side. He will walk quietly next to you on a leash. He is a very smart boy, but he's shy around other barking dogs. He's neutered.
Ronnie is an example of a dog who survived the worst kind of treatment by his previous owner, yet he still has love in his heart for people.
Meet Ronnie and give a great dog the kindness and love he so richly deserves.
