We’re continuing our Austin ghost tour with a look at the Neill-Cochran House Museum.
YNN’s Jess Mitchell met up with Austin Ghost Tours guide Monica Ballard to learn more about the building and why it might house spirits.
The home was constructed in 1855 as a suburban estate served several purposes over the years. It was home to the state’s first school for the blind and a hospital for soldiers during Civil War reconstruction.
Staff members at the museum have reported seeing items mysteriously displaced in the home, including a set of antique toys.
