Situated along the San Marcos River, the Pecan Park Campground faced heavy flooding which prompted evacuations Thursday morning.
Throughout the morning, trucks have been pulling RVs and campers out of the park, with many people saying their vehicles were taking on water before they realized how bad the flooding is.
Just a bit west of the campground, the Blanco River rose so high it lapped against the S.H. 80 bridge.
YNN’s Russell Wilde has been reporting in the area and filed the story above.
