Football season is here and that means letting your school pride shine.
Longhorn fan Brian Jewell is already getting a whiff of the excitement. Students are flooding the University Co-Op where he sells all the latest Bevo gear.
"T-shirts, jackets, dri-fit, coaches polo in three colors," Jewell said.
Game day gear is going fast and it's no different for Baylor Bears in Waco.
Matt Ricks, marketing specialist at the Baylor Bookstore knows what students are after.
"The number one seller is our gold rush T-shirt. So big, bright yellow, everybody wants to be seen. All the students dress up in yellow so you can actually see the whole section of students dress up in their gold rush t-shirts and their lion camp jerseys."
Whether you sport green and yellow, maroon and gold, burnt orange or another color, most football fans will agree it's all about the love of the game.
"Absolutely, I don't think there's any question. We're all football fans," Jewell said.
UT has it's first game this Saturday against Wyoming at DKR Texas Memorial Stadium. Then on Sunday, Baylor will take on SMU at the Floyd Casey Stadium.
