Lake Austin watercraft ban in effect through Tuesday
Police are monitoring Lake Austin this holiday weekend.
A personal watercraft ban is in place until sunrise on Tuesday.
That means personal watercrafts, “wet bikes,” motorized surfboards and similar devices are prohibited on the waters of Lake Austin. Kayaks, canoes and paddleboards will still be allowed.
Officials say the annual ban helps keep lake goers safe.
