Austin Business Journal Editor Colin Pope says it's a simple process. “If I wanted to make a new game for phones or an app, I could put my idea on this website and people could maybe invest in my idea," he said.
According to Pope, more than 1,000 ventures from Austin have been featured on this site since it was established three years ago.
About 659 projects have received their requested funding, for a total of $8.2 million. Learn more about the website in this edition of “Business Now.”
