Austin police are seeking the public’s help in locating a vehicle that may be involved in a murder Friday evening.

Officers say the body of 22-year-old Louis Charles Allen was discovered inside a vehicle on 2407 Mission Hill Drive in Southeast Austin. Allen had died from an apparent gunshot wound.

Several Hispanic males were seen leaving the incident in what is described to be a 2000 or newer model, white, four-door sedan with tinted windows.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call APD’s Homicide Tip Line at (512) 477-3588 or Crime Stoppers at (512) 472-TIPS.

Allen’s death is Austin’s 21st murder this year.
