Capital Tonight: Uproar over 'voter purge' reaches court level
This week on "Capital Tonight," we began with a look at a judge's decision to block part of Texas' efforts to purge dead residents from the voter rolls. Earlier this month, letters were sent to some residents asking that they verify they are still alive. Those who didn't respond were set to be purged from the rolls. A district judge signed a temporary restraining order, Thursday, forbidding the Secretary of State from ordering county offices to remove anyone.
YNN's Alana Rocha spoke to the attorneys in the case.

Harold Cook and Ted Delisi joined us on stage to talk about the week's biggest headlines, including a conference call in which Governor Perry talks about the connection between church and state.
"President Obama and his cronies in Washington continue their efforts to remove any trace of religion from American life and it falls on us," Gov. Perry said. "I mean, we truly are Christian warriors, Christian soldiers and it’s, for us, as Americans, to stand our ground and firmly say to Washington that our nation is about more than just some secular laws."
Perry was referring to the 40 Days to Save America campaign. The group is planning to pray and fast for the last 40 days of the election.
