Creating a butterfly garden is one of the most enjoyable ways to bring beauty and joy to your outdoor space.

The Doug Blachly Butterfly Trail and Garden inside the Zilker Botanical Gardens is a great place to get inspired to start your own butterfly sanctuary.

Garden coordinator Elizabeth McVeety says butterfly gardening is a great way to blend both art and science and a wonderful way to introduce children to nature.
