Central Market's 'Hail to the Cheese' celebrates the foodie favorite

A favorite of the foodies will soon be honored at its own festival, courtesy of H-E-B’s Central Market chain of grocery stores.
Central Market’s third-annual Hail to the Cheese kicked off on Oct. 10 and will run for two weeks.
In-store experts will be helping customers learn about over 600 cheeses from right here in Central Texas and from abroad. Award-winning cheese makers will also be on-hand with samples from sharp to soft.
One food expert shared some good advice for tracking the cheese you love.
"I tell all our customers all the time, keep a notebook with you,” David Schlosz said. “When you buy a cheese and you find you like it, write it down because people forget the names all the time.”
