This team’s vision is to create an open-air room out of live Oaks and a lattice of bridges spanning the creek's mouth.

The announcement was made during Thursday’s regularly-scheduled City Council meeting.

The winning design was one of four to reach the final stage in the competition. All four of the finalists presented their ideas earlier this month, all of which have been available for public input.

The project is estimated to take five to 10 years to complete.
