Looking for a creative way to stay active and make friends at the same time?

The Merlin Works Institute for Improvisation is now holding classes at the new ZACH Theater in South Austin.

Improv comedy shows are also being added throughout the year.

“Improv has so many implications into people's real lives,” Shana Merlin said. “They come to class because they think it might be fun, meet new people and then they tell me they aced their job interview because they used their improv skills and body language skills."

The Merlin Works Institute for Improvisation is also going to be doing comedy shows.

The grand opening will be Sunday Jan. 13 at the ZACH Theatre.
