Woman killed in Northwest Austin house fire

One person has been killed in a house fire in far northwest Austin.
Crews were called to the fire around 5:30 p.m. on a street called Tamayo Drive, just west of Parmer Lane, between McNeil Drive and Anderson Mill Road.
Authorities say a woman was killed, but wouldn’t provide any other details.
The neighborhood is in a Williamson County area known as Jollyville.
Cedar Park, Sam Bass, and Austin Fire departments responded to the fire.
Fire investigators with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Department were on scene, but a spokesman says it won't be until Friday before they can perform more detailed parts of the investigation.
