Elderly woman dies in NW Austin house fire

Investigators are looking into a house fire that killed a woman in northwest Austin.
The fire began about 5:30 p.m. in a house near Parmer and McNeil on 13401 Tamayo Drive. The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as 76-year-old Patsy Warford, who owned the home with her husband. He was not home at the time of the fire.
Several fire departments responded, including Cedar Park, Sam Bass and Austin.
