Austin police seek suspect in attempted sexual assault
Austin police are looking for the man they say tried to sexually assault a woman in southwest Austin Thursday morning.

According to police, the unknown suspect broke into a house along the 8800 block of La Cresada Drive. The suspect then approached a woman who lived in the house, but fled the scene after a brief struggle.

Police said they searched the area using police dogs and helicopter support.

The suspect is described as:

• Hispanic or light skinned black male in his late 20’s or early 30’s
• 5’08” – 5’10”
• 150 – 180 lbs.
• Grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans
