Funeral for KLBJ reporter to be held Monday afternoon

An Austin-based radio reporter will be laid to rest Monday.
The funeral for Barbara McCarley, the City Hall reporter for KLBJ-AM, will take place at 1 p.m. at the Austin Christian Fellowship in West Austin. Visitation for McCarley took place Sunday night.
The 14-year KLBJ-AM veteran was killed last week in a three-car collision along FM 2222 near Mesa Drive. The two other drivers in the collision were injured, but are expected to survive.
A Corpus Christi native, McCarley is survived by her husband and two children.
