Police arrest suspect in Wells Fargo robbery
Austin police have arrested a suspect for the robbery of a Wells Fargo bank at 11212 North I-35.
Jeremiah Gregory, 35, is charged with two counts of robbery by threat. He is being held on $20,000 bond.
Detectives investigating the incident said a white man with scratches on his face, who was wearing an orange UT hooded sweatshirt, entered the bank and demanded cash shortly before noon on Tuesday.
He left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was hurt in the incident.
A short time later police located Gregory and took him into custody.
