Austin police are investigating a crash at about 1 a.m. Wednesday, in which a driver apparently lost control on the I-35 service road just south of Ben White Boulevard and flipped his vehicle into a Hyundai dealership.

The driver's vehicle landed on its roof on top of a dealership vehicle and caught fire. The crash damaged at least 16 cars at the dealership.

Witnesses told police they saw a man crawl out of the car and flee the scene on foot.

Police said they found beer bottles scattered around the crash.
