3 in custody after SE Austin police chase

Three people are now in police custody after a car chase Thursday night in Southeast Austin.
The Austin Police Department said the pursuit started around 6 p.m. Thursday, after an officer went after a reported stolen car.
The chase wove through the Ben White Boulevard and Montopolis Drive area, where two passengers jumped out of the car. Police caught both passengers, but the driver kept going.
The chase ended after the driver stopped the car on Levander Loop and jumped from the bridge. Officers were able to catch the driver, and no injuries were reported.
