The 15th Annual Mighty Texas Dog Walk didn’t stop with a walk in the park.
There were vendors and even booths set up to break world records, like the largest fur ball.
Participants said the event featured much more than they expected.
"It is awesome,” Leanna Exley said. “This was my first year to do it. Ace was placed with me just a few months ago, so this is awesome to be able to come see all this. I wasn't expecting quite this turn out."
Behind all the fun is a good cause. The Mighty Texas Dog Walk benefits Service Dogs Inc., formerly known as Texas Hearing and Service dogs. The group trains rescued canines and pairs them with a person who has a hearing or mobility impairment.
