Forever Families: What's next after deciding on adoption
Every week on “Forever Families,” we feature a child in our area who is in need of a loving, adoptive home. Today, we take a look what happens after a family decides they want to adopt. Amanda Wintenburg with the Adoption Coalition of Texas joins us in the studio to provide some answers.

He has a contagious smile that can brighten any room, or in this case, an entire basketball court. Twelve-year-old Raheeim is ready to be adopted and he's hoping to find a forever family who will cheer him on, both on and off the court.

Forever Families: Devon and Daphne look for forever home together
Curious, bubbly and outspoken -- those are just a few of the qualities you'll find in 8-year-old Devon and his 9-year-old sister Daphne. They have a lot in common, including their love for animals.
